My current project is a book called 'Murderabilia and True Crime Collecting'. The book focuses on the cultural phenomenon of Murderabilia and looks in-depth at true crime collecting from a balanced point of view. I offer an objective perspective and raise questions about its morality and give the people at the center of the controversial subject a platform to raise their point of view and to discuss and defend their own viewpoint on the subject. The book looks at the social and cultural impact that killer art has on contemporary society and the issues of morality that shrouds the topic of killers' artwork being in the public domain and the demand for it by people who sell and collect it.

I also investigate the impact of serial killer crime and culture within society and through interviews with collectors and vendors of Murderabilia I offer their opinions, thoughts and feelings on the impact of Murderabilia and serial killer culture. Many killers have been interviewed who express their views on the subject of Murderabilia and for the first time share their own unique stories. They discuss their personal experiences with Murderabilia and true crime collectors.

The book also explores areas of Murderabilia such as the 'Son of Sam' law and the impact on victims and the prevention of perpetuating profit from crime culture, alongside interviews with people who are involved commercially in the true crime culture arena who also provide the book with a social commentary on the balance between killer, collector and business. The book features interviews with convicted killers such as: Dennis Nilsen, Douglas Clark, Arthur Shawcross, Wayne Lo, Joel Rifkin, Nico Castelaux, Issei Sagawa and rare transcribed letters from deceased serial killer John Wayne Gacy who discusses his artwork at great length in his correspondence. Collecting crime related artifacts is not a new trend and there is a historical and academic interest in the subject. I also look at the world of crime museums and feature an exclusive interview with the curator of the Metropolitan Police Crime Museum, who discusses famous cases and artifacts from Metropolitan Police history, including: Jack The Ripper, Dennis Nilsen and other notorious cases. The detailed account of my visit to the Metropolitan Police Crime Museum will offer true crime fans a rare insight into the legendary museum and it's notorious contents.

The book is filled with rare photographs of some of the most notorious serial killer collectables and artwork including creative work by: Danny Rolling, Ottis Tool, Henry Lee Lucas, Albert De Salvo, Nico Castelaux, Issei Sagawa, Herbit Mullin, John Wayne Gacy plus many more.

'Murderabilia and True Crime Collecting' is the definitive account of Murderabilia and killer collectables. This is a book no true crime fan should be without!

'Murderabilia and True Crime Collecting' is available now to purchase.
